Joyson is the Vice President, Innovation and Strategy Execution for enGen, a fully owned subsidiary of Highmark Health. In this role, he leads teams that support Enterprise, Solution and Platform Architecture, DevSecOps, Frameworks and Tools for Highmark Health, its operating companies and affiliates. Joyson is responsible for the architectural roadmap and strategy direction for the Business, Application, Data and Technology swim lanes for Highmark Enterprise. He is also instrumental in leading innovation and transformation efforts to modernize the technology and business capabilities to utilize Blockchain, Robotic Process Automation, Rules Engines, and Container platforms.
Joyson joined Highmark from FedEx, where he led all of solution architecture supporting the FedEx Ground, Home Delivery and Smart Post lines of business. Joyson has extensive experience building large scale solutions across diverse domains like healthcare, logistics, defense, banking, boating and instrumentation for organizations like the US Airforce, Bank of America, and General Electric.
Joyson earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering – computer science and holds a master’s in business administration. Joyson lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Nisha and kids Matthew and Marc. Joyson along with his family volunteers at “The Highmark Caring Place,” a center for grieving children, adolescents, and their families and “Light of Life Ministries,” a center for Pittsburgh’s homeless.
