Job Description
Responsibilities:
Act as a Change Agent, passionately driving teams to adopt agile behaviors and mindsets
Facilitate program-level agile ceremonies, including dependency mapping, release planning, and scope alignment across multiple product teams
Support the development of robust product backlogs, sprint goals, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done/ready
Use data-driven metrics to enhance team maturity and effectiveness in the agile process
Remove impediments to the team’s progress and ensure that the team remains focused to meet sprint and program commitments
Facilitate open communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders outside the team
Encourage self-organization and cross-functionality within the team, coaching each team member to improve overall performance
Promote transparency, continuous inspection, and adaptation to ensure delivery of high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done
Protect the team from distractions, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
Drive the agile mindset throughout the organization, leading with the values and principles of agile methodology
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in an agile environment, serving as a development team member, Scrum Master, or Product Owner
5+ years of direct experience as a Scrum Master
Expert in facilitation, problem-solving, and influencing outcomes in cross-functional teams
Deep knowledge of value-driven development practices such as requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis-driven development, and usability testing
Proficiency with agile tool suites such as Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams, or other agile management tools
Desired:
Experience as a Project Manager in a waterfall environment is a plus
Familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies
Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation, particularly in a scaled environment as a Scrum Master
