About the Role:
Our direct client, a Fortune 500 retailer, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in data. Experience with subscription services would be a significant advantage. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, stakeholder management, and technical expertise to translate data needs into actionable product features.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, actuarial teams, and other stakeholders to understand and prioritize their data needs.
  2. Data-Driven Product Development: Lead the development of data-centric product features, ensuring they align with the overall business strategy and meet the needs of end users.
  3. Requirement Translation: Translate complex business and data requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
  4. Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term and long-term goals, ensuring timely delivery of product features.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
  6. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to ensure seamless product development and implementation.
  7. Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analytics to track the success of product features and drive continuous improvement.
  8. User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to iterate on product features and enhance user satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on data-driven products and subscription services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics, SQL, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
