Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business teams (products & operations) to validate and clarify functional requirements based on banking-specific needs, focusing on settlement and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Lead significant technology initiatives in alignment with banking regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring comprehensive documentation, including technical and interface specifications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to facilitate development changes and manage end-to-end implementation/go-live activities alongside project and delivery managers.
  • Maintain ongoing project updates and promptly escalate risks or issues to ensure smooth project progression and alignment with bank project standards.
  • Support senior project managers in all phases of the SDLC, adhering to SCB (Standard Chartered Bank) standards for secure, compliant project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 4-5 years in webMethods technologies, with expertise in:
    • webMethods Integration Server, Designer, Deployer, BPM, CAF, Broker, JDBC Adapter, and MQ Adapter.
  • Banking Knowledge: Solid understanding of the settlement and trade lifecycle in the banking context.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with webMethods versions 9.8/10.X, including upgrade projects.
    • Proficiency with source version control (Subversion, Git).
  • Quality Assurance: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, experienced in collaborating with QA teams to develop effective test plans.
  • DevOps Expertise: Ability to work with cross-functional teams on application deployment, performance, monitoring, reliability, and scalability within banking standards.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and address critical banking-related issues.
