Job Description

Job Overview:
Join us as an IT Business Analyst within the Enterprise Data and Information Services (EDIS) team!

Collaborate with stakeholders to build robust enterprise data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and business insights driving critical business decisions. This role leads efforts in business analysis, project support, and end-to-end process optimization, contributing to enhanced customer, client, and employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create documentation, and perform attribution mapping for data elements across the data supply chain (DSC).
  • Identify and document requirements for complex systems and processes while adhering to Agile PLC/SDLC principles.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements and stories for development teams.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on business solutions and technical platform capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog to prioritize tasks and align with business objectives.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality in application releases and enhance user experience.
  • Facilitate and contribute to training initiatives related to team support and processes.
  • Partner with security and risk teams to ensure adherence to IT standards and escalate issues as needed.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to achieve objectives or resolve project challenges.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Master’s Degree with 3+ years of data analytics experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of data analytics experience.
    • Equivalent military/work experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience:
    • Hands-on experience in data analytics within Information Technology and the banking sector.
    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively with minimal oversight.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and resolving issues collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
  • Knowledge of security, risk management, and IT process principles.
