Job Overview:
The Senior QA engineer would be responsible for performing both manual and automation work across the various digital projects.

General Job Function:
The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a senior-level position for an experienced, talented individual to join our software development team. As part of the quality assurance team, you will verify software products, ensure code is bug-free and efficient, and implement automated testing procedures. Working closely with the development lead, you will devise and implement testing strategies and methodologies to engage with all stages of software development, ensuring functionality from the outset.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development leads to create and implement testing strategies relevant to all stages of development.
  • Ensure all code is bug-free, scalable, and properly documented.
  • Create new automated testing scripts to test large quantities of code.
  • Ensure completeness, correctness, and usability of final products.
  • Develop new quality assurance standards to reflect our emerging products and technologies.
  • Participate in hiring.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both black box and white box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with developing automated scripts.
  • Strong experience in Java, automated testing frameworks (Selenium WebDriver), testing tools (JUnit, TestNG), build automation tools (Maven, Ant), Azure DevOps (pipelines), and Database CRUD Operations (SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • Experience with API testing and performance testing with tools such as JMeter or Soasta.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard web and mobile architectures, both hardware and software.

Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Years of Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
