Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Replenishment Analytics & Dashboard Development

    • Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards for replenishment analytics, utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for dashboard and report creation, focusing on inventory, demand forecasting, stock levels, and order cycles.
    • Provide in-depth analysis on replenishment trends, inventory turnover, and demand patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  2. Techno-Functional Expertise

    • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment in the implementation of analytics solutions.
    • Support the integration of replenishment analytics with enterprise systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and inventory management platforms.
    • Troubleshoot data and system issues related to replenishment processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in analytics outputs.
  3. Data Analysis & Optimization

    • Conduct regular assessments of inventory and replenishment data, identifying patterns, trends, and insights to drive continuous improvement.
    • Implement machine learning models or algorithms to improve forecasting accuracy and predict future replenishment needs.
    • Collaborate with supply chain, merchandising, and IT teams to optimize the replenishment process and reduce stockouts or overstock situations.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting

    • Present insights, reports, and dashboard findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for analytics processes, dashboard features, and replenishment metrics.
    • Provide training to end-users on new dashboards and analytics tools, promoting self-service analytics capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in replenishment analytics, inventory management, or supply chain analytics, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
Strong technical skills, including experience with supply chain software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Proficient in SQL; capable to write complex SQLs, with good understanding of database structure principles
Strong understanding of replenishment cycles, demand forecasting, and inventory management principles.
Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of integrating analytics solutions with enterprise applications.
Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to present data insights clearly and influence decision-making.
Knowledge of retail industry and inventory management best practices.

Experience with machine learning or statistical modeling for demand forecasting.
Knowledge of Symphony Gold, Relex or similar retail-specific analytics platforms.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python or R.
