• Owns the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more components of an environment, application, or platform.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to plan, estimate, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications (Argo Teller 21 application, and interfaces with various peripherals ECR, Check scanners, printers, etc)
• Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.
• Participates in the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers
• Provides continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency
• Applies recommended information security standards when developing code and seeks to validate
• Assesses the technical viability of new and emerging products and technologies
• Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code
• Identifies potential standards and best practices

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in software development and ability to learn Argo
• Preferred minimum 5 years of Argo experience ideally in the Teller platform
• Experience with traditional client/server architecture (ideally Argo/Bankpro experience); Argo web/ API experience is a plus
• Experience in developing interfaces for the Argo Teller platform with CAD devices, Check imaging software, and Electronic Cash recycler machines is ideal
• Experience working with Alogent Front Counter is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases
• Experience working with SOAP and RESTFUL web services
• Experience working with shell scripts or Visual Basic
• Experience working with Web methods, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Azure Dev/Ops, XML, C#, and .Net is a plus
• Must be open to supporting production issue analysis and resolution and on-call rotation
• Strong knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• Experience in the Banking / Financial Industry is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot software and problem-solving skills
