• Perform daily administration of Redhat Linux 7/8/9 on-premises and in GCP.
• Build server images adhering to standards, including hardening and security compliance (CIS, SOX, PCI).
• Manage service-level agreements, documentation, and policies/procedures related to Linux servers and ancillary tools.
• Provide L3 on-call support, responding to off-hours calls/texts and executing changes as needed.
• Create and manage scripts to automate system tasks using Ansible.
• Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of the Linux server environment using Packer, Terraform, and VMware Virtualization Technology.
• Ensure standards are included, applied, and maintained across all product sets and solutions.
• Manage and maintain VMware virtualization environment on a hyper-converged server platform.
• Own and operate the company's release engineering infrastructure, including physical and virtual hardware, automation tooling, and continuous integration (CI) resources.
• Audit and secure services across development, test, and production environments.
• Coordinate with system vendors to resolve system issues.
• Support and maintain the hardware and software infrastructure aiming for zero unplanned downtime.
• Consistently observe security best practices in all deployments.

• 7+ years of relevant experience in RHEL server administration.
• Demonstrated experience managing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-level server environment including VMware, physical, and Cloud.
• Experience deploying and maintaining servers in a public-cloud hosted environment such as GCP & Azure.
• Solid knowledge of Delinia Server Suite (Centrify AD Bridge) for upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience in Ansible and shell scripting to automate tasks and processes at an enterprise scale.
• General networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, ACLs, VIPs, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of Packer and GitLab.
• Proficiency in Redhat Satellite administration, upgrading, and maintenance.
• Experience in SSH Key management, Linux Security Baseline Management, and Linux Server Build.
• Expertise in RHEL 9 design and build.
  
  

• Relevant certifications in Redhat Linux, VMware, Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), and security compliance are preferred.
