Job Description

Job Overview:
  • The role of a Product coach will be to help the multiple product teams with business agility while pulling from experience and bodies of knowledge such as product management, agile frame works and lean practices 
  • As a Product coach, you will leverage your extensive practical product management and agile expertise to solve real world problems, guiding leaders and teams to understand, embrace and evangelize new ways of working 
  • This will be an opportunity to help influence and shape strategy in delivery transformation 
  • Serve as a transformation coach to leaders and product teams guiding them to better business agility 
  • Work with product leaders and teams to ensure relentless drive for customer focused outcomes using data to gather greater insights 
  • Coach and mentor product teams to leverage appropriate principles such as product mindset, agile principles, human-centered design principles, technical engineering practices, and frameworks to deliver high-value products and capabilities 
  • Enable and inspire a collaborative and empowered culture to promote greater business agility 
  • Design and develop facilitator-lead materials related to product and agile practices  
  • Through coaching soft skills, build trust, evaluate team’s current practices /methodologies and recommend appropriate next steps to achieve greater business agility 
  • Develop and influence learning strategies for product managers, product owners, and other product leaders

Technical Expertise: 
   - Possess a strong technical background to effectively engage with development teams and provide guidance on technical best practices
Scaled Agile Implementation: 
   - Facilitate the successful implementation of Agile at Scale 
   - Ensure teams are effectively utilizing agile tools and practices for optimal efficiency
Metrics and Continuous Improvement: 
   - Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of agile initiatives
   - Lead retrospectives and other forums for continuous improvement
Collaboration and Communication: 
   - Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, breaking down silos and promoting open communication
   - Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and agile practices
Communication: 
   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
   - Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
Leadership: 
   - Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills. 
 
Qualifications: 
Education: 
   - Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
Experience: 
   - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Product coaching, with a focus on technical environments. 
   - Proven track record of successfully leading Product transformations in large organizations. 
Technical Skills: 
   - Strong understanding of software development processes and technical best practices. 
   - Experience with DevOps practices and tools. 
Certifications: 
   - SAFe Program Consultant or equivalent Scaling certifications
