The Senior Project Manager – Risk & Regulatory Remediation is responsible for leading and executing key regulatory and risk-related projects within the financial services industry. This role requires exceptional facilitation, planning, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. The candidate will work closely with business partners to ensure compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements while driving projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects related to risk management and regulatory remediation.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with business goals.
Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to project lifecycles and quality standards.
Facilitate project prioritization, resource allocation, and dependency tracking.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring business continuity.
Communicate project status updates to senior leadership, risk committees, and stakeholders.
Drive process improvements, documentation, and knowledge transfer for long-term sustainability.
Ensure vendor contract compliance and performance management.
Oversee change management initiatives, including training and communication plans.
Primary Skills:
Project Management – Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Risk & Regulatory Compliance – Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory remediation.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Ability to influence without authority and work effectively with senior leadership.
Technical Proficiency – Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
Communication & Problem-Solving – Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
PMP, CSM, or SSM certification (preferred).
Experience in financial services, particularly in risk management and regulatory remediation.
Ability to manage vendors, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
