About the Job:
The Reputation Risk Management Risk Analyst position is part of the 2nd Line of Defense within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). This role focuses on executing risk management projects, conducting analytical research, supporting quantitative and qualitative analyses, and managing risk monitoring and reporting. Reporting to the Head of Reputation Risk & Human Resources (HR) Risk, the position is responsible for risk reporting, project management, review and credible challenge, data management, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage risk assessments, aggregate metrics, and oversee front-line activities; identify risks, provide input on controls and testing, and advise on and monitor remediation activities.
  • Apply critical thinking skills for review and challenge activities and escalation, including independent testing as required.
  • Coordinate and support regulatory and audit exam requests; assist with reporting for Risk Governance Committees.
  • Establish routine dashboards; coordinate materials, and reports, and gather feedback from sources as directed by the Head of Reputation Risk & HR Risk.
  • Evaluate risk reporting (metrics, loss events, findings, remediation plans, etc.), internal and external research, and leverage peer benchmarks to identify and address emerging risk issues and gaps.
  • Provide information for analysis and reporting on risks, including changes to risk profiles, exposure, loss events, risk metrics performance, control testing results, and peer benchmarks.
  • Apply knowledge of risk management processes, tools, and techniques to diverse situations; mitigate risk and discourage actions that may expose the company to undesired risks.
  • Promptly escalate material breaches of laws, rules, policies, or standards to senior management or appropriate risk committees and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support regulatory and audit activities related to reputation risk topics.
  • Provide leadership and support on special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with substantial industry experience focused on risk management.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services risk management, audit, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to "operate in the grey" and balance priorities effectively.
