Job Description
Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst seasoned in both Waterfall and Agile software development lifecycle methodologies. This role involves influencing cross-functional teams in banking, payments, and treasury applications & business processes, providing business analysis and project/product support for development, enhancement, quality assessment, and ongoing support of relevant lines-of-business (LOBs).
Responsibilities:
Capture requirements for highly complex systems and/or multiple systems across various stakeholders; apply SDLC principles to deliverables.
Bridge knowledge gaps for project teams transitioning to Agile, demonstrating expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Lead and contribute to the design process to ensure alignment with business requirements and optimized user experience.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements, considering multiple users, risks, and impact scenarios, and communicate them effectively to the development team.
Collaborate with QA teams to develop project testing strategies, support, and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality in application releases and user experience.
Advise and coordinate with cross-functional teams on security, risk management, and IT process principles, escalating to appropriate teams as needed.
Partner effectively with security and risk teams to ensure tech portfolio changes adhere to standards.
Skills:
7-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in related roles.
Proven experience managing requirements with use cases and creating software requirements specifications.
Strong background in creating user stories to define business needs for digital solutions.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in communicating with both technical and non-technical project team members.
Extensive experience with Jira.
Agile certifications are a plus.
Experience in banking and payments is a plus.
Google Cloud experience or certification is a plus.
Extensive experience creating business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
